The Temple of Poseidon
The Temple of Poseidon dates from the 5th century BC. and is located at the easternmost tip of Attica, Sounio. It rises vertically with the sea and its beaches are vertical and rocky. Due to its environmental value, it has been declared a national park.

The suggested start time of this trip is early in the afternoon so you can enjoy the fantastic and famous sunset from the temple of Poseidon.
The route to the final destination is from the coastal road and our first stop is in the beautiful lake of Vouliagmeni, which has a maximum depth of 100 meters, and is a pole of attraction for visitors.
Then we will move along the Saronic Gulf and cross coastal areas such as Varkiza, Lagonisi, Saronida and Anavyssos.
It is worth noting that near the Temple there is a traditional tavern where you can enjoy traditional Greek food overlooking the Aegean Sea and the wonderful sunset.
